Textbook Information

Textbooks are checked out from the Library at the beginning of the school year and returned in May.

Each student is responsible for the care and return of the book.  The textbooks should be covered, handled with care, and kept in a secure location.  Textbooks are expensive and students will need to replace textbooks that are lost or damaged.  Any book checked out to a student becomes his or her responsibility with their parent/guardian.

Policy for Lost or Damaged Books:

If your student has lost or damaged a textbook, please pay the district's cost to replace or purchase a replacement copy.  The replacement copy must be in good condition (if used) with the same ISBN (International Standard Book Number) and publication date.

Textbooks can be purchased online at websites such as Half-Price books, cheapbooks.com, Barnes & Noble, Bulk Bookstore, Book Outlet, GetTextbooks.com or Amazon.

Lost books need to be cleared as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Payne, the Arcade Library/Media Tech at:  lisa.payne@sanjuan.edu.
