Welcome to the Arcade Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)!

What does a PTO do?

Arcade Middle School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is dedicated to enhancing and supporting the well-rounded education of Arcade's students through the efforts of parents, teachers, and the greater Arcade community.

We know that by continuing to achieve Arcade PTO's mission, Arcade students will benefit from a learning environment that prepares our students for high school and beyond, as they pursue their goals as well-rounded citizens of the world.

A Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) plays a vital role in supporting a middle school by fostering collaboration between parents, teachers, and the school administration. 

Here are some of the ways Arcade's PTO has been involved:

• academic-focus programs such as Honors Society and STEAM;
• classroom growth as reading helpers, science assistants, etc.;
• Spartan spirit and recognition activities like 8th Grade Promotion;
• PTO committees and the board, providing structure and leadership for our school community;
• family-school connections like information nights, newsletters and family events;
• student clubs and after-school programs like chess club and track;
• growth-mindset activities like Career Day;
• field education with student fee assistance and chaperones;
• new technology equipment.

How You Can Get Involved

There’s no one-size-fits-all way to participate. Here are a few ways to jump in:

• Attend a Meeting: Get updates on what’s happening at school, share your ideas, and connect with other families.
• Volunteer Your Time: Help out at events, support classroom projects, or lend a hand behind the scenes with event planning or tech.
• Join the PTO Board: Looking to make a deeper impact? We are always looking for passionate leaders to join our board! Board roles are a fantastic way to help shape school initiatives, plan major events, and advocate for our students.

Strong schools are built by strong communities—and we need YOU! Whether you have an hour a month or a few hours a week, there’s a place for every family member to get involved.

Ways you can jump in:

• In the Classroom & Committees: Lend a hand during school hours or help plan behind the scenes.
• Big Events: Help bring favorite traditions to life, like the Color Run and 8th Grade Promotion!
• Evening Fun: Only free at night? Chaperone a Movie Night or Skate Night!
